    Biodiesel will work …
Biodiesel will work if only a few people use it. If everybody and everybody’s Tom, Dick, and Rubber Duck decide to do this, it’ll fall flat on its face.

    Hydrogen fuel is a …
    Hydrogen fuel is a scam.
    Ethanol (gasahol) is a scam.
Biodiesel isn’t a scam, but causes more problems than people know about.

    If soybeans are …
If soybeans are used, you’ll need a new farm the size of the state of Washington just to provide a 5% mix at current consumption.

But if anyone can pull off coverting used french fry grease to a fuel, it’ll be Americans. Simply spin it as a “patriotic duty” and the soybeans, which cause more erosion that corn, will come rolling in.

    Let’s take a look …
Let’s take a look at the “dirt” on biodiesel, shall we?
    1. Where does the soy come from if and when everybody converts? Brazil, where plenty of rainforest can be cut down to grow it.
    2. Biodiesel mixes love water. Water and combustion do NOT mix.
    3. Biodiesel mixes shorten engine life, slowly destroy gaskets and fuel pumps, and gel in cold weather.
    4. Filtering the bio material takes energy. What is used to provide the energy? More than likely fossil fuels.
    5. NOx emissions increase with BD

Thanx guys, a good introductory video. For those who are interested in becoming commercial producers of bio-diesel, Google to find turn-key bio-fuel manufacturing plant equipment (a scalable one is available in Holland with 1 year training & support). Incentives are available in may places to help fund your new operation. As a Sustabinability Consultant, I can help.

In Oregon and Washington Sequential Fuels is our primary Bio-diesel producer. Diesel users: buy now!

    A cool presentation …
